Default Thorn In My Side Solo - Too Short?

Everytime I listen to it, it feels like it could go on for so much longer. Same with a couple of other mini solos on The Circle but this one seems like it could of went somewhere.

If it's played live, do you think there could be an extended solo or something?

I hope so anyway ..

Yeah well the same could be said for all the albums post These Days. Richie is firmly on the leash. I think Jon puts an egg timer next to Richie when he plays his solos.

I think he'll stick to the main solos but maybe extend some of the outros.

Yeah, it's a shame really as Richie is one of the best guitarists around these days.

I agree with most of you, unlike Jon, Richie is still just as great as he was back in the 80s and 90s and probably even better. But it's a shame that most of his great guitar work only comes from 80s and 90s.

Richies voice isn't all that when he sings a song himself, but I can imagine the guitarring might make him tired.
I always preferred Richie over Jon anyway.

And for the topicquestion:
Every solo is too short but we can't have a setlist full of Comfortably Numbs either

I salute you,
TS
