Oei is Dutch for Whoops.

I MISSED THE SHOW,

I just got back from holiday, is there anywhere on the net I can see the show. Maybe there is a copy of it over in XS?

I think you're missing the point *but that's probably intentional because in order to make YOUR point, you'd need to lose sight of the forest through the trees. Everyone complains about Jon's voice (whether or not they have a real clue if he's OK or not, you critique from bootlegs and the handful of live shows you're actually attend) and everyone complains about set lists (again, whether or not you've actually attended the show are are sitting at your computer critiquing a list of songs you did hear performed) - yet, the band offers a vote and offers a live stream and you continuously look to find the negative in something that the band offers to us for free. You see life through pessimist's glasses when it comes to Bon Jovi - just accept it and we can move on. And you know, while we can all debate what we think/want/hope would be included in the set list, we don't really have a say. And though the general presumption around here is that anyone on this site knows WAY more than anyone else, including the band, about what the band should do maybe they band (oh no!) actually knows what they're doing? MAYBE the songs that aren't played and are played are thought about if Jon is sick? Maybe the band actually does put more thought into the set list than you accuse them of? Maybe, Jon wouldn't have sung that song that nite but had to because, goddmanit, that's the song that won the vote so I have to do it? Oh, wait, then they'd be listening to their fans... See the catch-22?

By the way, I watched the encore on my computer too. And I'm glad I was given the opportunity to see a portion of the show I wouldn't have seen otherwise. I know that's so *cute* and *backstage* of me to show any kind of appreciation for anything the band does for the fans but hey, call me quaint.

Just a comment from someone who was actually AT the show. I was in the 4th row center section. From where I stood, Jon's vocals were not bad as described here. I loved hearing These Days. Out of the 10 Bounce shows I've been to on this tour, Alpine would rank up there in my top 3 in regard to set list and performance.

We have a believer! Well at least someone has a good thing to say about the show! It was probably the "over the web" sound that was crap!

not trying to tell you you had a bad show at all - in fact like you said it was a nice setlist (strong anyway) i think/thought

but when you are there things go over your head - and when you get to listen back to the performance or see it back you'll know what i mean

Yeah, but don't forget we only got to listen to the very end. Who knows what his voice was like at the start?

I don't know either, because I wasn't there. It may have been crap, it may have been great. I can only take the word of the people that saw it.
