Good point!

Any news about this song? Any leaks? Or we are still at the point where someone bought it on ebay?

For me, No Regrets is one of BJ's strongest outtakes, and would have been one of my favourites on Bounce had it made it. Those moody verses and the power in the chorus still gets me going! I especially love that "thunder cracks the sky is crying..." line

I would've loved to hear Cryin'. I think that was the song where Jon stated that it was "too sad to even leave the notebook". But they've (mostly) been very good at writing those kind of tunes.

We Can Dance... me too. Great song. Probably my favorite from the Bounce demos.

Breathe never hit me. Yeah it was a demo and it would be better if it were a little more polished - better vocals, harmonies, and mixing. But it always just seemed it missed the mark. The chorus is anticlimactic. The bridge is a mess. 1/2 the lyrics are really good and the other are cringeworthy. I don't think it turned out to be the song they were shooting for.

On the other hand, Postcards from the Wasteland misses the mark in dynamics. It feels like it should build a little bigger, or not build at all. But it is not only their best lyric from that era, I'd put it up in their top 5 best lyrics ever.

I've always liked it but it just never stood out to me in any way. Lyrically it's very strong. But Postcards from the Wasteland was such an amazing tune for me when I first heard it, every other slower outtake from that era just kind of paled in comparison....

Postcards From The Wasteland has one of the best lyrics ever. If you read the lyrics without listening to the music it's like you are reading a great poem.

Breathe is ok. My favs that id never heard before on the boxset were Outlaws of Love and Out of bounds.

When i first got boxset i thought how had half of these not made the albums but a few plays later it was obvious. They werent as good. Some good ones in there but some real average ones as well.

Breathe, We Can Dance and Postcards from the Wasteland are some of the best songs from that era.
