Why use a band otherwise? Jon could just get studio musicians to play what he wants, like he did with Alec.

Lets hope Tico wants to play a five minute drum solo on the new record then

David Bryan should be a part in the songwriting ! He's such an amazing songwriter. He have only written one good damn it song in the 2000s that have made it till an album. Last Cigarette (right?). Sure he have written some good B sides but it's a shame to waste a talant like him ! Tico in songwriting. Hm, I don't know. The only song I know he have been involved with is Secret Dreams.

Does anybody know what Tico wrote for Secret Dreams ?

They all should give it a shot, but I think David should really get in on it. I just don't get that writing thing from Tico.

Family Guy episode: Ringo Starr writes a song hands it to the band and they post it on the fridge and the band treat him like he was a 3 year old who just drew a picture, thats what I can see here.

Look in their eyes Mom you'll see me."

Yes,they should all get involved in writing process, especially David Bryan as a third composer and for the rest members even as a jury of what's right or wrong with the concept song in their opinion, what changes could be done,etc...in that way people are feeling as a part of an community...

Who cares? I doubt at this stage in their career anything will change.

Ok, now that you say this itīs obvious. I always thought the drumming on that track sounds a bit monotonic. I suppose it is an early demo, then.
