Very good point, Tash....art is cool that way. One person's embracement is another's replusiveness.
But, do you think there is a direct correlation between the number of albums sold and how well the music is being valued by the fans/buying-public-at-large?

Not too sure about how the fans work, can only go on myself. Of course there will always be aspects of the band that I don't like, but I like them as a whole. As this is a Bon Jovi production, I will buy it, just to add to my collection and there are a few songs on it that I do like. I guess I hope they will have something the next time that I like more.
Of course commercial success does have an impact on how the public and critics perceive them, but I'm sure that there are people who became a fan from TLFR.. there will always be something for someone!
