These shows were bad, the songs are bad. Read the posts on this board and there in enough evidence from the harcore fans to prove that. Your non-fan may like the album. Is that who they want to appeal to? Is that what thay wanted? Get rid of the fans that have devoted years and tens of thousands of dollars to them....gladly I may add, just to please the aging house fraus that may fall for this Tom Jones-ish sellout. You continue to like this crap, good for you. But, I will not follow them down the road to the state-fair circiut when this trash fails live.
Yes, I heard him say he was off but I didn't think so. Can I ask you now that you have heard the record which you think is horrible how do you think Jon should have performed? To me the reworked songs aren't as conducive to Jon's normal aerobic infused movements. I'm taking the shows and record for what they are a one time only thing. Like I said, I've seen Bon Jovi shows since the 7800 record. I wasn't expecting this show to be the high energy show that their normal rock shows are. I for one am not worried at all that this record and this AC gig are any indication of the future Bon Jovi. But, what do I know, I'm just a geek tax CPA.

You ask now that I have heard the album how I would have Jon perform the songs given that they don't fit the style we are accustomed to. My answer, you don't becuase they don't fit the style of music they are popular for making. Now, I am no coreographer but you have to admit he looked lifeless. I think he would have been better served by sitting, as he didduring the accoustic part of the Bounce tour shows. Standing there looking down and occasionaly shaking his ass, however nice it may be, doesen't get the job done. That being said....you have made helped to make a point for me!

What kind of a statement is that?? Do you really want to hurt people for not seeing the same thing or feeling the same way you do?? Man, do you have a problem! I'm not going to discredit the fact that you may or may not have been at the shows or the amount of concerts you have seen or how big a fan you are cuz I don't know you and from your attitude in these posts I don't think I really want to!

It has been well stated in other reviews including Val's (person who began this thread) that the guys had a rough start Friday night. That is not in any dispute anywhere. I was not at the shows but have talked to many friends who were & they all agree - it didn't start off right and that the second night went a lot better. My problem with your review is that you want your view of the concerts to be the only one people believe. Just because you weren't satisfied and didn't like it doesn't mean that there were plenty of others who were. Yes, there are others who weren't satisfied also but I don't see them going over the edge to make everyone else feel the same way. You need to start respecting others opinions on this board. Go ahead & make reviews but don't start them off as:

If you have something to say at least don't put another fan's review down as bogus and you don't need to shove your review and opinion down everyone's throat. It only makes people (including myself) wonder were your really coming from!
