TLFR Review - Finally someone who understands!

No intention of getting on this debate train, but was New Jersey not recorded within two weeks (or rumoured to be, at least)? I think most fans here would consider that to be a good album... Anyway, each have their own peace of mind.

I would say that TLFR is a very brave release. but still it's pure crap.

Personally I think it was a brave step but it was hit and miss. The ballads were too samey. Maybe they should have done to BOR, IBTFY, or Always what Robbie Williams did to Take That's Back For Good. That at least would have been more interesting than the snorefest that the aforementioned ballads were.

The rest of the album is reasonably good. Personally I believe that if any of the other tracks had been released as b-sides they may have been better received than having 12 great songs reworked on one album, which was, in my opinion, a bit much for people to take.

I understand the intent of the album but I also feel that it's an aural assault to all things good and holy. It's the only BJ studio album I don't own because it offends my eardrums so bad.
