to all the bon jovi dissers

seriously,wtf is with you fags?
i've been browsing through various threads and posts and in most of them,all is see is how bon jovi are a pop band or a sell out.

bon jovi are pop allright,but in the sense of pop being popular..not some ****ing boy band or britney spears pop..if you guys seriously think like that(pop with guitars),then you are in serious denial

hell,it's beacuse of bands like bon jovi and aerosmith that the genre of rock is still alive

and since when did bon jovi claimed to be a metal band?..that's right they never ever have.they were always a ROCK BAND since the start and have stuck to musical styles varying from popular rock,arena rock,album oriented rock,hard rock,glam rock(80's) and even country rock(lost highway)

secondly,some of the guys here are just to find flaws in the band and nothing else..(a big **** you to you mothergrabbers)

i recently went to the iron maiden(a metal band) concert(in india) and had the pleasure of having a conversation with bruce dickinson...
in our conversation i mentioned a little some about bon jovi,and the guy had nothing bad to say about the band his return and i quote "hey,you've gotta admire bon jovi for their work towards the rock genre"...
the guy,bruce,is a respectable singer of a legendary metal band...you've gotta respect his opinion.

james hetfield or lars might hate jovi for their own little reasons,just like jon not liking the darkness

that's one of the best posts i've read on this board. i love the site but it does piss me off when large numbers rip the shit out of jovi. respect their line of work and give constructed criticism where you feel the need. if the band turns you off so much stop posting on here, it's becoming petty.

Agreed. Some people on here have nothing good to say EVER about the band. It doesn't mean the members need to be Jovi butt kissers, but like you said, constructive criticism when needed.

Indeed. I can't wait until Ice gets here. I've never read a positive comment out of him. Heck, even Seb has a nice thing to say from time to time. It's great to have an opinion, be it overly negative or overly positive, but come on people, be constructive either way.

When negative stuff is posted on JoviTalk it's generally always justified in some way. What's the point of pretending it's all good when it isn't?
