To American Idol Fans/Watchers, Which Bon Jovi Songs Will Each 6 Contestant Sing?

Absolutely. The range is so insane. The songs have a lot of low verses, then the choruses and bridges are so crazy high and powerful, especially for a male singer. And most female singers don't have the balls to do it properly. Nothing makes me more pissed off than hearing a girl at karaoke sing Bon Jovi "pretty". I call it wimpy, and it's shit.

hey its 2nd May right ? .. confirmed >? .. well livin on a prayer .. i think nobody will do it because it needs backin vocals .. dead or alive is a song tht nobody can sing or will try to because it was only made for jon .. and the one who sings will make a mistake .. i think Always will be someones choice with bed of rosses .. and born to be my baby is a song which can give u marks .. i mean easy to sing .. ad effective too .. i dunt really expect a sng frm crush album ... maybe Two Stroy Town will be someones chioce .. i eman because it has the country touch and bon jovi is goin to release a country album so it will be a tricky choice ..

I think that the finalists will probably do the "hits", I'm sure they won't do songs like Two Story Town or Somethin For the Pain.

The girls will do the ballads such as "I'll Be There for You," "Always," or "Bed of Roses." The guys might do something like an acoustic version of "Prayer" or even that slowed down acoustic version of "Runaway." Maybe someone will try "It's My Life" but I predict it'll suck. Someone could try "Wanted" but again, I'm not sure it's wise.

IF they are smart, they won't try to do one of the songs and include the screaming rocker sounds--Simon hates that stuff pretty bad, it seems.

Now...what I WISH they'd do....

I wish Lakesha would do "IBTFY" and Melinda to do "Always." I wish for Jordan to do "Someday I'll be Saturday Night." Far as the guys...I'd like to hear Phil Stacey do "Living in Sin" and Blake to do whatever Blake likes--he seems pretty able to choose songs but he would do the best job (out of those there ) on the faster songs I think. Chris Richardson should go ahead and do "Who Says" or "Blaze."

I heard Blaze of Glory on the radio this morning. I bet someone does it. Why? Because judge Randy Jackson played on that song.

So I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that Phil will sing Blaze of Glory even though it's a JBJ song and not a BJ song.

Oh yeay i bet you're right. And Randy of course will mention how he played on it, he never misses a chance to brag about shit like that.

I think Jordin should do Always. She is the only one I think that could pull it off and it would be interesting to hear a female vocal on that song. I can picture Chris doing It's My Life or Who Says and I can picture myself gagging through his nasally rendition. I think Blake would do a good job on Runaway if he sings it as the acoustic/ballad version a la the Crush tour, but he's been doing alot of slow songs lately and it's starting to bore me. If Chris doesn't do IML Blake should. Phil + a Bon Jovi song = scariness. (He seems like a nice guy but i still just don't like him AT ALL). I can see him picking a ballad like IBTFY or as Becky said maybe he'll go for Blaze of Glory. It's got those "glory notes" he likes to belt. Or I could see Phil doing Who Says because ever since he got praise on country week Phil is claiming that country is his forte. Melinda and Lakeisha.. I have no clue. I can't picture them doing any of the "hits". It will be interesting to see. I can't wait to see how Jon acts as the coach. I think it will be amusing to say the least...

I agree with whoever else commented on Gina, she would have been great this week.

I don't get why people don't like Phil, especially BJ fans. I am really glad he's around for this week. I think he might make it through the BJ round, and then get booted. He has a good chance this week, since he can belt. Chris can't belt, and Blake? I think he'll hold his own, but Phil has the best male voice for this round. I have been waiting since the Top 12 to see Phil Stacy do Bon Jovi. LOL.

Phil's interesting to me. He's sort of good looking, and sort of creepy looking, at the same time.

LOL @ Phil doing "Living In Sin". I would love that too...but he's a Christian so he might not like that one so much. Actually, I don't think Idol would consider that song appropriate, but who knows...they allowed "Tonight I Wanna Cry" by Keith Urban and it's got that drunk line.

I like Phil. He and Gina were the ones I hoped would stick around long enough to sing a Bon Jovi song. I think Phil has a good tone to his voice and sometimes he sounds great. Sometimes he sings too high for my taste though. He was my early favorite, then I thought he did terribly for a few weeks (singing that ghastly Lea Ann Rimes song, for instance). He's not as consistent a performer and doesn't have the "ooomph" to his voice that Chris Daughtry though. I think the inconsistency is the main reason I haven't decided Phil is my favorite this year. He was terrible some weeks. But when he's good, he's usually better than Chris. Blake also sings too high and I'd probably never buy Blake's CDs. Phil, on the other hand, I could see myself buying his stuff if he went country. So, at the moment, Phil is my favorite guy. I hope he outlasts Lakeisha and Chris.

Sanjaya is the only one from this season who can do Bon Jovi justice and he's gone. Too bad.

At least whatever happens on Tueday will be better than TLFR.

Would like to see someone singing "Hey God", "In These Arms", "Someday I'll Be Saturday Night", "Radio Saved My Life Tonight", but I don't know whether they can pull it off as I haven't been watching AMERICAN IDOL at all.

Got a feeling that a song from HAND will be covered. Hmmm....

"Real Life" would be good too, but I don't think it'll go down too well with the judges. Blech.
