Track Rankings: 100,000,000 Fans [Discs 1, 2 & 5A]

All songs which received a percentage of 50% or higher, move onto Round 2 which means 64 songs have been eliminated so far, while 63 songs move on.

EDIT: Rules are changing due to people not liking the idea of the way it was going to be run. For this round only, you will have to rank Disc 1 & Disc 2 (seperately though). Then after this round, each disc will have its own thread like it use to be, treating each disc as an album.

Because some songs are demo/older versions of studio album songs or are songs which have already been rated (bonus songs), some tracks have been replaced.

The following changes for Round 1 of 100,000,000 Fans are as follows:

- Someday Ill Be Saturday Night (Demo Version) will be replaced with Someday Ill Be Saturday Night (Crossroads Version)
- Last Man Standing (Older version of HAND version) will be replaced with Stay (Say It Isnt So B-Side)
- Starting All Over Again (Keep The Faith Bonus) will be replaced with Jon's solo Blaze Of Glory (Crossroads/Blaze Of Glory)

I don't get the logic behind this at all. Why not just keep Blaze and Always for a Crossroad ranking? Yes it is a greatest hits but you would be ranking the hits which is something that could be just as enjoyable to do.

I also don't get why were not just doing it by the disc numbers according to the boxsets. When you rank 30 some songs at one time, people will say stuff like "15-20 can change depending on___" and it becomes quite tedious.

Yeah, i think that would be better too. Seeing what rank people will do the hits in would be good.

As mentioned before, once all the studio albums are done, all the songs which ranked highest from each album (50% or more) go onto the next round, and it will keep going until there's only 1 set of songs left (say 10), which will kinda be like Jovitalk's Greatest Hits selection. Because of this, ranking Crossroads would have no point because majority of the songs have already been voted on. So to give Always, Sat Night and Blaze a chance ive replaced them with the songs from the box set which have already been voted on.

We can always do a Crossroad ranking after this is done? Some people want to do a album ranking as well which sounds good.

Um, I don't understand the logic here AT ALL.
For starters, I disagree with the thought that the Box Set songs aren't up to studio quality, as there are a lot of songs on the Box Set that are IMO better then several album tracks. Secondly, I don't understand the replacements AT ALL. The Demo version of SIBSN is a very different song from the normal version IMO. Similar to Starting All Over Again. I also don't understand why we're doing the mixing of all the discs. For time? Who cares, we've all played this game for months now, and gone through every other album, and I think it's lame to change the rules now. I'm not trying to crap on you, and TBH I don't care all that much in the grand scheme of things, I just don't like this new set up at all, and honestly I don't know if I'm voting this round.

Ugh alrighty then. If most people want it back the old way thats how we'll do it .

Ill leave this thread as Discs 1 and 2, but you can rank them seperately.. hopefully you dont have to concentrate too hard to rank 2 discs at once. After this round, Discs 3, 4 and 5 will all be done seperately.

Replacements will stand though. Why vote for the SIBSN Box Set version when its pretty much the same to the Crossroad version? So instead of having to rank Crossroad (where 90% of the songs have already been voted on) the songs on there which havent been ranked can easily replace the older substitutes on the box set. After this is all complete we can have a Crossroad & Album ranking game.
