LOL, yep, I'm sure, it works live! Songs that I don't really like I grade them with a big 0.
...songs like Hey God, Something To Believe In, We Got It Going On, etc.

14) Undivided (by far - my favorite and most personal post-2000 tune!)
13) Postcards From The Wasteland (the songwriting on this song always reminds me a bit of the These Days era - the metaphors are great!)
12) Hook Me Up
11) Misunderstood (great pop-rock tune - took me long till I started to like it)
10) Bounce (Jon - just sing the ****in' f-word!)
09) Everyday (though here it's the rare case that the TLFR version is more appealing to me - at least the live performance)
0 The Distance (good, but I never got the overwhelming love for it that it gets around here)
07) No Regrets (nice rockin', really diggin' the verse melody)
06) Open All Night (I like the lyrics and some of the live renditions, but Jon sounds so awfully nasal on the record)
05) Right Side of Wrong (I like the storyteller approach to the song, but the music doesn't work for me)
04) You Had Me From Hello
03) Love Me Back To Life
02) All About Lovin' You
01) Joey

The bottom 4 or 5 songs are pretty much randomly picked. I rarely listen to the album as a whole, mostly only to a few chosen tunes. The production just doesn't work for me here, neither does the flow nor the majority of the ballads on Bounce.
What needs to be mentioned is Undivided though which is an absolute killer track! And I'm glad about the change they made from One to Undivided as the part with "the time has come to rise back up" after the solo is about my favorite section

Brian, with respect I will have to disagree

WWBTF is lowest common denominator psuedo-inspirational blather. Undivided is about a very sepcific moment and makes several direct references to it in (I especially like the second verse - "I found faith in the songs they silenced" I take to be referring to the songs that were banned on radio in the aftermath of 9/11, and that's a powerful lyric right there), and as such it actually has meaning, as opposed to Jon apparently trying to write a song that sounds exactly like what he thinks people expect from Bon Jovi.

14. Undivided (Amazing track)
13. Misunderstood
12. Bounce
11. Postcards From the Wasteland
10. You Had Me From Hello
9. The Distance
8. Everyday
7. Open All Night
6. All About Lovin' You
5. No Regrets
4. Love Me Back To Life
3. Hook Me Up
2. Right Side of Wrong
1. Joey

I've always liked Bounce. It's a cool album, but the flow in it is awful. But overall it's a cool album, but the production side could have been stronger..

Undivided is a masterpiece without doubt. The lyrics, the evil riff, the chorus, the outro. Everything is just great. Misunderstood is one of those cool pop songs that don't sound forced. It's a cool song with a catchy chorus and great lyrics. Postcards is also a great song but as someone mentioned the key could have been higher. But the lyrics is one of the best of the 2000s.

I will NEVER get the hate for You Had Me From Hello. The acoustic intro is beautiful and I think the entire song has a special mood in it. The lyrics may be corny, but if you really love someone you will get the lyrics. Great song!

And then the bottom.. Hook Me Up is a failed attempt to be heavy. Sure it has cool effects, and the guitars are heavy but unlike Undivided it doesn't have a riff. He just strums a Drop-D tuning and think it will be heavy automaticly. Heaviness is much more than tuning down one string. It's sucha boring song and could have been so much more.

So am I the only one who thinks The Distance and Love Me Back To Life are pretty much the same song musically? One with talkbox, one without.

1(st): Undivided (an amazing song, great chorus)
2(nd): Bounce (I love it so much, I made my own cover version )
3(rd): You Had Me from Hello (to some, it's awful - to me, it's a delicate beauty)
4: Right Side of Wrong
5: All About Lovin' You
6: Everyday
7: Joey
8: Misunderstood
9: Hook Me Up
10: Misunderstood
11: Open All Night
12: Love Me Back to Life
13: No Regrets
14: Postcards from the Wasteland

I love them all - save possibly the two bonus tracks - unfortunately there's just not enough room for twelve 14-pointers.
You have listed Misunderstood twice and have left out The Distance. Please fix it up, thanks!

Nope. Except The Distance is far superior.

I totally agree. I don't understand why so many hate the song, it's just so beautiful!

Isn't the line "i found faith in the songs you silenced."? Either way, taken in the context of the verse that surrounds it, it's clearly aimed at the terrorists in my mind. Beyond that though, I'm not trying to bag on Undivided. I like the song, but I think it's deeper meaning comes from the fact that it was written in response to something so specific. I think if you compare the songs solely based on lyrics, they're both quite slogany. Undivided is better, no question.

Great album, awful order of songs. I'm not very keen on the bottom 3 songs of my list, but they are not that bad. The demos (Alive, Another Reason to Believe, Breathe and We Can Dance, mainly) are awesome too.

This is my fav album of the post These Days albums, as although the album does not flow that well, it has for me at least, six-seven songs of the best 15 post 2000 songs; while Joey and RSOW go between decent to boring depending on my mood.

For me, this album is the best example of how the band do not release their best songs, as how the hell did Undivided and The Distance (worldwide) not get released? If they followed Everyday, the album would have done much better, while Alive, No Regrets or Another reason and We Can Dance should have replaced You Had Me, AALY and Open All Night, while I have a soft spot for Lucky and Breathe.

1) Undivided
2) The Distance
3) Everyday (better than IML imo)
=) Bounce
5) Misunderstood
6) Hook Me Up
7) Love Me Back To Life (would be higher if it was not on the same album as TD)
8 ) Joey
9) RSOW
10) AALY
11) Open ALL Night
12) YHMFH (Way too corny)
