Track Rankings 2012 - The Circle

I like the album still, it was the only one of Jovis that really needed a few plays to grab me. It also proves that they most definitely concentrated on the wrong songs to promote, and if Loves The Only Rule and Thorn In My Side were at the forefront of being singles and performed more live then maybe the album may have been thought of more fondly by some. At least LOTR did get a decent stint in the live shows, and the outtro slow of Thorn elevated it massively, but they should have been the staples of the tour and not WWBTF or Beautiful

Im happy with LTOR winning. I personally think Thorn In My Side is a little over rated (although I thought it worked great live).

My favourite song on The Circle has to be Superman Tonight. For me, it is my in my top 5 favourite post 2000 songs (along with Whole Lot of Leaving, Have a Nice Day and It's My Life and Undivided).

If someone puts WFTWM on top and BPL on the bottom and has a siganture pic of Bandiera - then these votes aren't allowed to count!

Am I the only one who loves the lyrics "Think about it, wouldn't that be cool, if love's the only rule" from LTOR? Sure, it might be cheesy, but maybe that's why i just love it so damn much. And the song itself for me is likely my favorite post-2000 song from the band. It feels far more organic than anything else on this album. Plus, it has 2 unique choruses that merge for 1 big mega chorus. The only thing that could elevate this song is if Jon went for the high vocals at the very end. I always have to add it in myself...
