I know, but I can remember an interview from a while back when Jon mentioned that a few covers would prob be on the album.
I was looking forward to heroes!!
They prob will be in the boxset, though we were promised stuff that "even the diehards have'nt heard"...............

Default thoughts

I have a few thoughts

1. Why do people keep talking about an 'acoustic' album? The press release says that this is not an acoustic album but an album of re-worked hits.
2. Another safe choice for Bon Jovi. I wonder if it's Jon or the record company that wont take any chances and just keep slinging us the same old songs
3. BJ rarely play Always anymore, and 'Lay Your Hands' has become an audible so why put them on here unless you know they are fan favourites. If they are fan favourites, why do they rarely play them?
4. That whole run of 'Bad Medicine', 'Faith', 'Bad Name' does nothing for me when it could have been replaced with 'I'd Die for You', 'Wild is the Wind' and 'Hearts Breakin Even'
5. 'Everyday'!!!!!! Surely this wont even be in the set lists for the next tour!!!???
6. Cover great
7. This is just Crossroads - which if you look on amazon is still the top selling Jovi album of all - wonder why they went down that line!!!
8. Feel sorry for the USA that us Brits and the rest will get a dvd. What have the Yanks done wrong?
9. The whole process will only be rescued from being nothing more than a quick cash gathering excercise if they play some shows around the world and play acoustic/reworked versions. THAT will be something new and original.
10. Oddly I will still look forward to this CD and buy it straight away. Do they put something in the water that makes me feel like this?

After five minutes of relax...

Itīs a good setlist, with good songs...but itīs always the SAME setlist.

I was hoping changes...some song not predictable....

At least...Iīll be there 4 u and Bed of Roses. Or The Distance.

But These Days? Hearts breaking even? Livin in sin??

Remember an album called One Wild night Live?? Something to believe in, something for the pain, rocking in the free world, Runaway, in and out of love and still no-one liked it. This time theyve reworked some of their BIGGEST hits, Always, Bed of Roses, Lay your hands on me, Born to be my baby none of which were on this album.

Sorry but I cant see why everyones being so negative about it before theyve even heard the tracks. Yes I would like to hear accoustic versions of hearts breaking even, living in sin, bitter wine, but it was never gonna happen. No point complaining about it.

Hi neurotica!
ī
I hope it will be a good album, it has some very good songs but I would prefer more changes in the "setlist". As usual, always the same...

At least we have good ballads in this album.

And nice cover Better so

the same list again and again. now that we have that 4 sure, let's wait until we see the result. i hope they re-arrange completely all the songs. i mean, i don't want them to play 'always' as an acoustic ballad, let's do it as a rythm'n'blues for example.

do you remember bryan adams' 'think about you'? in the original recording, it was a ballad. in the acoustic album, it was a fast-country melody, maybe a fox-trot. that gets the song refreshed.

some years ago, the english group 'magnum' (for all of you that doesn't know them, they play hard rock... more or less like 'bad company') released a record labeled as 'keep the night light burning'. in this record, the group re-arranged lots of songs, one of them sung a capella, another one as a reggae song (mmm, remember the 'keep the faith' reggae version?), another as a folk song, other one as a celtic song, another as 'new age' with only keyboards...

i hope the guys have followed this way. i could'n stand again prayer-crossroads, always acoustic, born to b my baby as the b-side they have, wanted as always...

let's wait and see.

p.s. i don't expect major changes...

I loved One Wild Night. I thought it was great album with different, interesting songs, Rockin' In the Free World, I Don't Like Mondays and the These Days stuff. And of course the Crush Stuff. That was a much better tracklist then this one...I just don't understand why we just can't get what we want. What's the point of them appealing to the general public when the fans are the ones that got them where they are now?

I really don't get it...
