Default Tribute Bands

Since there's no gig going on, I spent time listening some of the tribute bands out there. The most notable one for me is Bounce from Germany (correct me if i'm wrong). The vocalist got insane range and can nail most of Jon's tough songs. Heck the lead guitarist does a hell of a job too. Background Vocals are their problem though. But they're the Best Tribute band for me hands down. They even have their own website too! Really wish Jon and Co. will atleast recognize this band in the near future because I heard that these guys are quite popular on their area.

They are and there actually was a huge fan campaign in Dusseldorf 2011 with fans (including the guitar player and singer) holding up banners right in front of Jon on the circle. He read but ignored them. Which I think is a bit strange since the best tribute band before that, Kon Chauvi (and maybe the most authentic ever), had been mentioned quite a few times by Jon and Richie (even on a TV show).

I try to see a Bounce show at least 4-5 times a year since I really like how they give some songs their own spin and don't try to replicate them 100% verbatim to the record. Furthermore, they're really down to earth guys who hang around for a few beers with the fans afterwards. And their energy and the fact that they don't dowtune any songs remind me of why I became a fan of Bon Jovi in the first place.

Do you have a decent video for Kon Chauvi? I found some but all are in bad quality.

Also there was also this guy who perfectly replicated JBJ's voice when he sang Always and Bed Of Roses too. I forgot his name because that was like 2 years ago and I still didn't have a YT account during that time. Anyone knew his name?

In the uk, I've seen two recently who were both rather good, "The Bon Jovi Experience" (The one's who sang with Jon at an event somewhere) and "Wrong Jovi"

You probably mean this guy:

I don't have a decent video of Kon Chauvi either. They retired in 2008 and I never got the chance to see them live. But I recently uploaded their 2nd CD:

Thanks for the info! Kon Chauvi's vocalist will be a great replacement for Jon. Yeah this is impossible right now because of Jon's recent improvement then add up Sambora's departure so I'm not raising my hopes here.

It's funny how this comment is not funny, not bad either, but just strange/awkward

Replacing Jon Bon Jovi in Bon Jovi? Yeah right...
Would be like replacing Bruce Springsteen in Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band.

Lol shouldn't have post that when I was drunk haha...

But will it possible though? Would they hire someone who sounds like JBJ? Just like Journey hiring Augeri when Perry didn't go back in stage?
