Default Triple M interview

On the Aussie radio station Triple M, they had an interview with BJ, due to an overwhelming support of 53% of listeners wanted the radio station to do an interview with BJ, even though they don't even play their tunes.

The interviewer really didn't have a clue. He asked things like;
-Is their any infighting about what happens if the band breaks up?
(which they replied that they had gotten ova that kind of stuff, now they just do the record, tour, then go home. Simple)
-Whats happened with Alec? Does he still feel like he was done out after being kicked out?
(which they replied something like, they did what they had to do, so did he. and he still plays a few gigs and stuff)
-How did Richie get one of Tommy Lee's girls
(which Richie responded, we just had a connection right away, in Russia of all places)
-What differs between BJ and other 80's bands
(Which they said, we did the tours and stuff, we are here and they are not)

Really the interviewers didn't have a clue when they were doing the interview, they were trying to focus on the negatives. But BJ just had none of that and blew the questions away.

Considering they are a rock station, you'd think they'd play a bit more Bon Jovi and you're right, taht sounded like an interviewer having NO idea what the band was about.

Yeah it was quite a funny interview when the DJ mentioned that Richie got Pammy from Tommy Lee and Richie corrected him and said he got Heather. I can still remember the days when Triple M played heaps of Bon Jovi. In the mid '90s I was invited to a listener Christmas party as I was well known for requesting Bon Jovi all the time. Anyway there were heaps of Bon Jovi memorabilia all over the station and I was told the the station programmer was a huge BJ fan. I even gave a review of the Keep the Faith tour on air . The station should be reminded that the most requesed song ever was Wanted Dead or Alive. Even the "easy listening" station is playing Always and Bed of Rose all this week.
