No, it's not about 'keeping faith,' or 'hoping everything turns out OK.'
The fact is, unless they are prepared to offer full refunds to people who do not now wish to attend, they absolutely owe an explanation to fans. It's one or the other I'm afraid, otherwise they just come across as arrogant, greedy b*stards who can spin any old yarn for loyal followers to buy into.
Since refunds don't look likely for those unfortunate enough to have bought tickets (thankfully, I opted to try for bargain tickets this year and am I glad I did now as I definitely won't be going!), it should be made public as to what these 'personal reasons' are related to. People who've forked out hundreds or even thousands of $$ deserve at least that much!
