Default Two Covers On The Acoustic Cd???

I’ve just finished to read Jon’s interview and I can’t believe his words:
two covers on the live and acoustic CD. The first thing I thought was: the same old story… WHY???!!!
Why should they sacrifice two versions of their songs, on a 15 songs CD, to put a couple of covers on it ????
Who cares about covers???
Is there anyone in this world that could explain me this???
I was very disappointed last year when they put “I don’t like Mondays” and “Rocking in the free world” in One wild night CD…the first live album in 18 years, only 14 live tracks, 2 covers!!!
I could understand it if the album was double with 25 songs…
Please, if you agree with me post a reply to this topic.

Am I the only one with this point of view?

well they haven't released a cover on any studio album, so they have every right to. Oh and I like Bob Geldof, and the song, and rockin' in the Free world.... the choices on the live album were quite brave I thought anyway... like 'something for the pain'.... who said the acoustic album wasn't 2 cd's.... they've played enough acoustic shows for it.

Im looking forward to hearing the covers. Id love them to put "bridge over troubled water", or an accoutic version of driftaway on the album. But overall I think Bon Jovi usually do a good job of covering other peoples songs

I'm not talking about the quality of the cover songs.
I personally love Rocking in the free world, but if I could choose I put These Days live and acoustic on the record...or This aint a love song...or Dry county.
If I'm gonna buy a Bon Jovi record I'd like to hear Bon Jovi Songs.

They won't never release a double album...in 2003 it's a commercial hara-kiri. It's sad but it's the truth.

I know what youre saying but dont agree. Out of 8 studio albums bon jovi have only had one cover song. Live and accoustic albums give the band a chance to include a couple of covers, or put out something different, so I dont think its a bad thing.

I don't particularly care what they play as long as it's good, and they do a good job on covers. As for my suggestion, 'Help' by the Beatles.

i'm looking forward to "have a little faith" for the versions of joe cocker and chaka khan are incredible- so i think theirs will be great as well! but i really hate the joker- as a song it's bad and their cover with the talk-box it's even worse- hope they are not gonna put it onto the record...
in your msg. you wrote sth. about 15-track album- is this announced yet or was that just a thought?
