I like to go to the shop. It's a great feeling holding the CD in youtr hands for the first time and seeing lots of them around you!!

I prefer the stores because then I'm guaranteed to get it on release day, because with online purchases there can always be problems with the dispatcher or usually just royal mail, so you end up getting it late. Last year I pre-ordered Bounce online (was also ordering the Back To The Future Trilogy at the time too), and it ended up coming about 5 or 6 days later than the release date. I only ordered it from there because it was only £8.99 though, as online stores are usually always cheaper.

As Tower Records has put most of the small record shops out of business in this country (and it's the only place around) I order online - and NOT from Tower. You can buy records in some bookstores but they are usually very expensive and the selection is not great.

It varies. The CDs that are published here I usually buy at a store here in my city because I'll get it for sure on the release day. But I also buy CDs via internet, like CDs that only came out in other countries. Here in my city there isn't a store that sells imports.
