Default UK misunderstood singles??

Hi Everyone

This has probably been done to the death but i went in on Monday for the 'Misunderstood' single CD's, i only found the 1 copy (the blue cover with Misunderstood, Everyday acoustic and Undivided), i was looking for the other CD (with misunderstood, joey, right side of wrong and celluloid heroes) and the guy in the record store said that he has never heard of a 2nd CD single of this song, thus they are stocking the blue covered CD. and my local our price has the 'everyday' singles (both CD's) but is not, for some reason, stocking 'Misunderstood'

So whats going on? Was there 2 versions of the CD single released in the UK? Or am i 'misunderstood' (ha ha!)?

PS - My CD single track list displays the correct track playing time, the people with the wrong track playing times may have picked up a collectors item!

It looks like its a UK thing - they have simply copied the Celluloid Heroes & Joey times onto the Undivided & Everyday Acoustic tracks as well. It'd be cool if it were, but somehow I don't think the single will be that successful.

According to the midweek charts, it looks like it's going to struggle to get into the Top 20.
If the shops aren't even stocking the damn things, it's no wonder!

I went into my local Woolies on Monday and was told they'd only been sent CD1. Won't have time to go into town until the weekend to look elsewhere, but not being able to get two versions from Woolworths is a first - bad news?

I've only got one of the singles, the one with Undivided, and Everyday on it. I couldn't find the other one. Mine has got different track times on it as well.

I could only get CD1 as well, went to Woollies and WHSmith, didn't bother asking about CD2 in Woollies, have learnt it's best not to bother Woollies staff about such matters as they never know the answer anyway (aploogies to any Woollies staff who post here ) but I asked over at WHSmith, and the chap there said they'd been sent 2 (yes, you read that right) copies of CD1 and none of CD2 and he didn't expect to get any copies of CD2 in, in fact he didn't know about CD2 until I told him!!!

Well, even Gareth Gates is only at #6 in the midweek charts, so what chance do we have? Then again, it could all change........

In my local Virgin Megastore on Monday they had both CDs and plenty of them, thankfully.
