How often have I to explain that they had their break through with Keep the faith? The earlier albums weren't that successfull here in Germany. Is it that difficult to understand? Sorry, but it is said so many times now.

The other way around I could say that it sucks that KTF and These Days (their best albums) weren't a success in the USA and that they were forgotten between NJ and Crush there.

I also don't understand why people can't accept that the old stuff wasn't that succesful here.
Hair Metal wasn't that big in europe.
if you go out on the street and ask the people for cinderella, many won't know them.

But one thing i want to say: I don't think that KTF and TD were forgotten in the USA: KTf went to Nr. 5 and Td went to Nr.9.. Maybe they don't sell as much as the other records, but they weren't really overlooked.

Between NJ and Crush it was at least that if you asked in a store in America for BJ-stuff you got the answer "well, they aren't very popular here" with a view that says "Oh man, another stupid old fashioned European who still likes BJ".

During the KTF and TD years Romania was full of BJ fans. Sone Rock euphoria cought Europe in that time. Guns n' Roses were very high. Bon Jovi were very high and Metallica were very high.

I remember,THESE DAYS was voted by the Romanian Bravo Readers: BEST HEAVY METAL ALBUM OF THE YEAR.

Europe had a completly different music in the 80s and i mean epeche Mode,Pet Shop Boys,Aha,Modern talking or Falco with that.

Hair Metal wasn't succesfull. Not even the British liked it that much.

Early 90s rocked! Grunge was getting cool in the USA but Europe was discovering the great bands!
