Default Unexpected Jovi moment in Adelaide

BJ don't know it, but they have a lot of fans here in Adelaide.
One of my daughters went out last night with friends to a nightclub here called "Heaven" [they do a thing on Wednesday nights called 'Time Warp']

Told me that the place was packed - about 1,000+ ppl - [even had a fair number of players from an AFL club there having a great time singing along] and at about 12:45am. she heard the opening strains of LOAP. Thought to herself 'WOW...BJ" and then looked about her to see and hear EVERY single person in the place singing the song very loudly from beginning to end, and going off, dancing, clapping and generally rapt to hear the song. She said she found herself thinking, 'god...and they say there aren't enough fans here...bull'. Yeah, I know....1,000+ does not a concert make...but she also went to Rumba here in December and said the buzz that started going around the entire oval that BJ might be on [the MC kept saying 'and coming up soon...a special guest surprise'] was amazing...there was about 20,000 people there and by the time it got to the business end of the gig, the entire place was a buzz...she reckoned that if they had appeared, the entire crowd would have gone through the stratosphere. Considering that the gig was very pop music based/focused and that the majority of the crowd were too, she was greatly heartened to see that many people wanting BJ to walk out there and play.

And so much too, for the music writer/critics here who say there aren't enough fans in Adelaide for bands to want to come here...rubbish.

you are forgetting that that one song does that in every night club around the world. And especially when people are drunk and having a good time. It's not enough to bring a band to play a gig there.

Just hold tight and wait for the band to come to Australia

p.s. why is it in the Tour Discussion section and not in General?

It's getting a little old all this "why the band won't come to Australia" stuff that's been going on for a long time now.

Did you mean that the other way around?...it is in the General section. Thing is, I wasn't commenting on BJ touring Oz [they come , fine - they don't, fine]...just a post about what my daughter recanted from her outing last night. She was really happy to see /hear it [as a long time Jovi fan who finds people are more into Jovi than they are usually willing to admit - hence the reference to Rumba] - and yes...people do get 'into' it when out and having a good time...she knows that, I know that...she was just rapt cause it was Jovi.
I too know and agree that the tour issue here is old...that wasn't the intent of my post..if that's how it came across, apologies.
