And for goodness sake, move Bad name somewhere else. First song to open the first encore would work a treat in my opinion, and like someone else has already suggested, Its My Life as either opener or 2nd/3rd place instead of Bad name would be an equal trade (one big hit for another big hit).

Oh, and while I'm on a role here, I think instead of the standard jukebox segment in the middle of the show they should throw in a medley of songs of the first two albums - Get Ready/Tokyo Road/In outta love etc. Would definitely spice things up a bit!

I'm still imagining an angry Jon coming out first song and bashing straight into 'Hey God', that's one way to star a rock and roll show.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

The thing with that is it's a bit of a mess. They go to the C after BTBMB before seemingly changing key again to go to Blaze. In this sense, the C is pointless.

Yeah. I'm not a fan of that cut in general, but as I said, I come to the conclusion that this placement of BOG works somehow.

In my opinion a great opener could be BROKENPROMISELAND, with fireworks too at the beginning of the "woah oh oh" part. Another great opening could be RUNAWAY. Imagine a huge videoclip on the widescreens, as for The Circle Tour and at the end of it all the lights on David and then on Richie!! It could a killer! Maybe without Jon playing the guitar, so he could move around the stage! Then, I think Raise Your Hands is a great opener for a BJ concert. Better than Capt Crash (as they did in Zurich!!) and Lost Highway!!!

A nice way to end the show is Letting You Go. It would be awesome!

Always thought Lay Your Hands on Me > Bad Medicine would be a gd tempoed opening!

another obvious one but Let It Rock would be great to witness open a show!

My wild card opener would be This Is Our House!

They did it in '96 with a marching band intro sometimes.

I also believe 'Have A Nice Day' as the second song would work well in an arena. If they played a song where it cut out straight away that is, and the lights went off before the opening riff came in. Can't think of a song where it cuts out except 'We Got It Going On', though.

That is exactly what I said throughout the Circle Tour. That was the song off of The Circle that should have opened every show. But instead they choose Happy Now, are you kidding me?

I always thought Fast Cars would be a great opener.

Think about, it Jon with an acoustic guitar and a single spotlight... those opening chords and Jon whispering those the lyrics into the mic.. with that smile... (shivers) how can i defend.... and then the band slowly being revealed with that electric guitar build up to the chorus.... OH LAWD!

Me too: always thought that Brokenpromiseland was the right song to open the shows! They should have worked a little more on it, it's a shame they only performanced it once!

I always though IML would be the perfect open for an Encore. I suppose the same logic holds for opening a show. Give a series of precursory Wah-Wah's to wet the appetite.
