Thanks but is that version of Hit the road Jack a snippet or the entire song?
Can't wait to watch the videos

I completely disagree. I thought it was excellent overall. It was nice to hear Prayer with all the strings and just Jon and Richie. Bad Name was much better than the TLFR DVD and I actually liked it. It's My Life was surprising really good. Who Says was decent.

It's not the whole song - just a small bit of it in Bad Name.

Prayer was OK. It's My Life was OK. Who Says was good.

I guess I'm alone with Bad Name. I thought it sucked. I don't see taking one of your songs and completely redoing it as being original. That's why I hated the whole concept of TLFR to begin with. Why not just do Bad Name acoustically? I'm tired of this whole TLFR crap. Just sit down with acoustic guitars, like the way they claim they invented Unplugged, and play the damn songs. Stop ****ing around with them. Can you see Robert Plant and Jimmy Page pulling that crap? Or Steven Tyler and Joe Perry?

Sorry guys, but when people or even friends of mine accuse Jon of being "gay", I can see why. I hate that pouty face and tip-toe dance shit.

Others making fun of Bon Jovi doesn't concern me. I also don't care who would do what. Springsteen reworks songs all the time. It really isn't a bad rendition. At all.

The weakest performance was IML.

I am so used to Bruce changing his songs that sometimes I don't even know what the best version is LOL. So - yeah - that didn't bother me here.

These guys did the two guitars in 1989 - why would they repeat the same thing they did then? They need credit for trying something different and growing.

I was out, and didn't tape it because I knew it'd be shorter than the the other two. I'm gonna watch it tomorrow morning when it's replayed.
How was IML with AAR?

Bad Name has been done a multitude of times in rock format -- it was rejuvenating to see this performed with a jazzy flavor. There are people that have a versatility in music and can appreciate jazz. Stellar vocals by Jon.

Richie? VACANT!!!!! Looking worn out, experiencing dry heaves and devoid of his upbeat personality. What a mess. 99% of the time he just strummed the guitar. Finally got a bit of solo on Who Says You Can't Go Home -- this is a masterful guitarist who's brilliant on acoustic. Jacked up! Scatting on Bad Name was transposed or the sound minimized, something wasn't right there. His background vocals were pretty decent tho. MTV blurred him out at the beginning of the program and minimal closeups -- this is a program where he and Jon have received raves for the kickoff of Unplugged -- absolutely no interaction between Jon and Richie. Just pitiful. I can now see why the intervention by the group (not just Jon). Tomorrow they'll have more performances (wondering what Wanted will bring).

I watched IM.
It was really good IMO, and the interaction with Tyson.
Man, it's cool to see Nick and Tyson acting like such fans.
