Yeah, Richie was obviously smashed. He looked like he was going to fall of the stool. It looked as if Jon didn't even want to look at him.

You have to give credit to JBJ here. He might have acted like a toddler at disasters like Hull, but it looks like he was really professional with this. His righthand man was basically dead, and he kept the thing going nicely.

Go to page 1 of this thread - there is written which songs were aired.

It's sad--can't watching them on mtv.com because I'm outside of America.

WHAT HAPPENED AT HULL? I'd read that they weren't up to par, but what took place?

Watched the songs, Who Says excluded (it sucks no matter how they play it) and they werenīt that bad. I liked LOAP, cellos and shit. Richie didnīt look too good but managed to even play a solo on Bad Name.

We've seen that version of Bad Name before. Maybe not exactly, but it was pretty close to the TLFR version.

I get what you're saying, but here's my thing - If you wanna try sometihng different, why not just play some new songs? If you're insistant on doing something different, why play the same songs you've played 5,000 times?

I'd much prefer them play Lost Highway than a cabaret version of Bad Name.

They have played a lot of new songs at the unplugged taping.
But MTV decided not to show them. Don't blame it on Bon Jovi, blame it on MTV.
I hope we will see some more interesting stuff today or tomorrow at VH1 and CMT.
MTV sucks.

MTV sucks.
I don't blame Bon Jovi for the MTV show. I blame Jon for acting like a tool performing Bad Name. No pun intended, but Jon's performance of Bad Name IS what gives Bon Jovi a bad name with so many people.

He wants to be taken seriously and be known for his music and not his hair or his looks, yet he prances on the stage like a fruity cabaret dancer.

I don't care what other people say about the band. If I did, I would have given up on them 20 years ago while defending them in the 5th grade. I'm simply saying, I can't blame people for insulting Jon when he performs like that. Jon needs to remember that not all of his fans give 2 shits about him shaking his ass and doing his Lord of the Dance impersonation.

I guess I'm alone with Bad Name. I thought it sucked. I don't see taking one of your songs and completely redoing it as being original. That's why I hated the whole concept of TLFR to begin with. Why not just do Bad Name acoustically? I'm tired of this whole TLFR crap. Just sit down with acoustic guitars, like the way they claim they invented Unplugged, and play the damn songs. Stop ****ing around with them. Can you see Robert Plant and Jimmy Page pulling that crap? Or Steven Tyler and Joe Perry?

Sorry guys, but when people or even friends of mine accuse Jon of being "gay", I can see why. I hate that pouty face and tip-toe dance shit.
Your not alone with Bad Name. I didn't see it myself, but one of my friends called me and said he thought the band ruined Bad Name and said it was horrible.
