I don't care what other people say about the band. If I did, I would have given up on them 20 years ago while defending them in the 5th grade. I'm simply saying, I can't blame people for insulting Jon when he performs like that. Jon needs to remember that not all of his fans give 2 shits about him shaking his ass and doing his Lord of the Dance impersonation.
Just for you Danfan...enjoy....!
Jon Jon Jon...just what the **** do you think your doing?! If he even goes to touch his ass at the O2 gig tomorrow i'm out of there faster than you can say 'middle-aged soccer mum'....

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

Yeah, thanks - I have the DVD.

All the greats dance like that, don't they? Steven Tyler. Eddie Vedder. John Lennon. Robert Plant. Mick Jagger. Axl Rose.

Oh wait, they don't. They want to be known as rock stars not fairy princesses.

No, those three don't prance, ever......
And I really don't mean that in a bad way.

They have charisma and dance, sure. But they don't stand there grabbing their asses and dancing like 14 year old ballerinas.

Look, I love Bon Jovi, and I think Jon is the man. But as a 31 year old male who loves the band for their music, this "look at my ass" routine is starting to wear thin. Focus more on the music and less on the stage antics.

Dude - You're a guy. And from the looks of it, straight. What is Jon acting like that doing for you? Can you honestly say you'd prefer THAT to Jon and Richie sitting there with 2 acoustic guitars, ripping out a killer version of Bad Name?

Honestly, I don't think 'Bad Name translates well in any acoustic standpoint.
I agree with you to a point, but I think that act kind of "goes" with YGLABN.
The same way Tyler has his hand down his pants when they do Sweet Emotion.

I didn't see the whole show on TV last night but i saw a few clips on MTV.com. IML (which is a song i pretty much hate anyway) sucked ~ i thought Jon and the lead singers voice did not go well together at all.... Bad Name was okay for me.. i liked it better at the Borgata. Prayer was okay. Who Says I didn't sit through the whole thing.

It's on VH1 tonight right? And CMT tommorrow i think.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

It's totally different. There's nothing wrong with posing. All rock stars (or most) do that. Christ, Look at Elvis.

As for Steven Tyler, he's just a sick, silly bastard. He's always been known for his flamboyant, over the top sexual innuendo. He pulls it off in a fun, not disgusting for the guys, way. Jon, is catering ONLY to the women in the crowd. I also can't imagine Steven Tyler playing Sweet Emotion, for example, ala cabaret.

Well, I for one don't think the dand down the pants, stroking the micstad is directed at the guys, but ok...
Anyway, I have no problem with any of this, and I love Aerosmith.
I just think it's unfair to say that only Jon does that, or that only Bon Jovi takes posed photos or whatever.
