I laugh at stuff like this. Track down those reviews someone posted a while back of the Keep The Faith album...it was ripped to shreds. Its all one guys personal vendetta against Jon Bon Jovi. The little shmuck probably was in a band once that got turned down as an opening act or something. Or Jon didnt play his request.
Nobody can dismiss Jon's songwriting ability, even if you take out the songs in which he shares credits with, youv still got the likes of Dry County, Bed Of Roses and some of the gems of both his solo albums. This guys gives too much credit to Richie et al (i never thot id hear myself saying that! I'm a huge fan and usually argue the other way) and paints it out that the 'poor' other band members are being held back.
And Jon was talking about the period when he was forming the band when he says about attracting the girls etc. He was a kid for goodness sake, any teenager would of been the same! The way that this writer tries to imply that this misquote still applies today is pathetic.

JBJ - I believe
"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."
