I'm sure they felt that. But they also should have felt that most of us already have Temptation, Lonely At The Top and Breathe.. Although I'm not complaining I wish they put 3 more songs from the Jersey era on the box-set. But if these data are correct, I think it's great we have so much songs from the KTF and CR era!

I think a lot of 80s demo's have already seen the light of day. Songs like Now & Forever, Backdoor To Heaven, Judgement Day, etc...

Stay suspicous - it's not correct info. Don't bet your house on that info.

There are actually just 3 songs from the 80s on that list. One of them (livin on a prayer demo) I think we already know, I would not be surprised if that is the one with the different talkbox-guitar-riff that has been showing up on a slippery sessions bootleg.
So that would leave 2 unreleased songs of the 80s. Along with what I have quoted above I think there's a big chance that this info of billboard.com is not correct.

Actually I hope it isn't correct because I really would love to hear unreleased stuff of the slippery and jersey era.

Where have these demos seen the light of day? As far as I'm aware they've never been put out. I assume some of you have bootleg versions of tracks such as these...if so, is the sound quality up to much, or would you have prefered them to be on the boxset?

A question:

There are songs from 1996 and 1998. From wich session could those songs have been?

I guess that must be unreleased tracks from Destination Anywhere and Undiscovered Soul. But, than Rich man living in a poor man's house would have been a solo track of Richie's. But, there is another track listed as a "richie solo track" so why aren't all the other ones of 1998??

Jon started writing for Crush (then Sex Sells) in 1998. Songs like Just Older he also wrote in 1998..

No no. Did anyone read the thing I posted? Don't assume this is right till the official site confirms it. They've already said that it's wrong. I'm sure it's wrong.

Miss fourth of july, according to seb, is a 7800 demo. Last I checked, 7800 was released in '85. If this is wrong, who knows what else is. Give it time.

I think most people here wouldn't be happy if a lot of the songs were from those.
