Default Well

I wish I was surprised at the song selection, but it's historically spot on. I'll admit to being slightly surprised that they did the exact same medley they'd done just weeks before on Thanksgiving(granted, with YGLABN included).

Here's what I wonder. And maybe someone has some insight.

Does the band ever want to play something different but for reasons beyond their control can't? (ie, requests by show producers, etc)

Are the band aware of how often they play those same songs and if so what is the logic behind it? (aside from the "we must play our biggest hits for the biggest audiences)

Do you feel that the band playing the same songs repeatedly pigeon holes them and limits some of their artistic credibility?

Aside from Wanted, Prayer, It's My Life, You Give Love a Bad Name... what other songs would be appropriate for a huge audience(superbowl, for example)... ?

Just curious as to your thoughts on this, I've got my own opinions but like to see other people's perspective.

I think it might be a good reason about why they play very often the same songs but in another way I can't see them being controled by the TV

I would love them to play whatever they want HERE in my country more often .... I think the ppl who might be the most bugged by always the same songs are the non Jovi fans and that might be not the best way to make new fans.....

for a fan absolutely NO ... for a non fan hmmmmm YES maybe ...... that's why they maybe should change their song choice

Well after that Good Morning America incident (telling the band It's My Life won when it was actually I'll Be There For You) I believe the song choices for events they play must usually be influenced by someone "higher-up".

I think that if a non-fan continues to see them play only It's My Life and Bad Name, they're going to assume the reason they play them so much is because those are their best songs. (In my opinion, they're actually 2 of their WORST live songs) If they played some different songs, they would be more likely to attract new fans.

LOL

I agree, I think Prayer would have been a better choice. Those three songs kind of showcase the real meaning of Bon Jovi.

Other than that, I thought it was a kickin' performance!

I've always thought they should do Born to be my baby on such shows. It's a great rock song and it is well known in Europe...
