I really don't need a dvd with all their videos. There aren't that many really good ones and they would get lost if they would make a whole catalogue idea of it.
Maybe a best of sorta thing as a bonus to a FULL kick ass show from any tour...

Especially since most of the videos can be found on Youtube for free. I think music video DVDs are a tough sell nowadays and if I were the record company I would be reluctant to release one.
And let's face it, most of the videos the average person wants are on the Cross Road DVD already.

Well that's my cynical viewpoint anyway.
Sarah, IS Crossroad available on DVD? I can't find it anywhere.

I'd also like the stuff from TD forward. I was out of the loop for awhile and can't stand watching on my computer - I have a big screen and a really nice sound system I'd rather use. I guess I'm going to have to suck it up and start transferring my collection . . . if I ever find the time.

I have Crossroad on what looks like an official DVD - though I know that it was never officially released in my country. It is a pressed DVD made in Russia - I bought it on e-bay - PAL format. It's possibly a tape transfer that someone did there and then pressed - I have no clue - but it's a decent job. There is also a transfer to DVD from the Japanese Laser Disc which is excellent, far better than tape quality - but this is a bootleg available in trading circles. The Japanese Laser Disc version is official though - it was released there.

Hmm I THOUGHT it was. I was almost positive I'd seen it in a video store before, but I guess I was imagining that. I can't find it on Amazon or any other sites now.

I have it on VHS from way back when but have never bothered to look for it on DVD. Which I suppose further proves the point of my previous post.

Cross Road, along with New Jersey: The Videos, Destination Anywhere and Live From London, was also released officially on Video CD aswell. The VCD version of Cross Road is pretty decent quality considering the resolution a VCD can hold. NJ The Videos is quite shit in terms of quality though lol.

It's always bugged me why An Evening With Bon Jovi was never released on DVD either. I managed to get a bootleg DVD of it from ebay though, which was ripped from a laserdisc and is great quality!

What I would really love is all the original VHS releases remastered onto DVD in a 2in1 style package similar to Def Leppards DVD's. For example:-

Breakout & Slippery When Wet: The Videos
New Jersey: The Videos & Access All Areas
Keep The Faith: The Videos & An Evening With

Then release a brand new Video's DVD with ALL their videos uncut and with no titles, etc overlapping them.

Even Crossroads the videos missed out good ones like NSG, Born to be my baby, Good guys etc. With the amount of space you can get on DVDs they could easily put their entire video collection on a double DVD.

I don't have much interest, personally. About the only draw for me these days are those videos with remixed or edited audio (i.e. Silent Night, Lay Your Hands On Me) and that is just making some kind of justification.

As I've gotten older I've found I just don't care about music videos anywhere near as much as I once did where I fanatically taped and watched them over and over. In fact, for the most part I find that the videos take away from the songs. The Always video makes me gag, where I love the song.

Throw in live stuff and we'll talk.
