I've been argueing this lately at AXS forums. Someone made a comment and said something like "Our band" as if they are actually a member. They think that because we like their music we somehow own a part of them or become a part of them.

We pay money for entertainment, may it be in the form of cd's, dvd's or concerts, and that is what we get. We have no right to claim we are part of it or to follow these people around in their daily lives snapping photos of them.
