I'd like just ask a question from this song's lyrics - what does it mean 'tell a day by the bottle you drink'? Is it just like when you do nothing and just drink, drink.... ? Nobody I asked could explain it to me. So I hope you do know what it means

i never saw too deep into it... when your on the road and theres nothing else to do and you resort to choosing different drinks for different days etc.. I think the expression is just used to convey the bordem of being on tour,traveling between the shows.

Back to the topic, I don't think it's supposed to be a very deep line. Maybe one of the only things you look forward to is having a drink? Different countries different drink?
