Bon Jovi are not a cool, artsy band whose videos get clicks from that crowd. Their prime audience probably didn't even watch MTV all that in the station's final years; much less do they organize and ramp up clicks on YT, so I can understand the band dialing back the budgets for videos. They're probably more of a "hey, this is a new song by us, we're still around!" tool to be shared on Facebook. Of course, an impressive vid would help here, but probably not by a wide enough margin to justify the extra cost.
