and yes, i agree with all of your tips to make them better. but Huey? sing? i've never heard him sing, i dont even know if he can!

and yes, let richie sing more songs like he just did on "These Days" (anyone hear that? pretty awesome. but i think it would be even better if Jon and Richie harmonized on more songs, but make Richie more prominent.

and 10., hell yes. it'd be awesome to hear both Jon and Richie singing double on Dry County!

get the tardis, kidknapp Jon and take him back in time to the day in the 90's when he decided that smoking would be cool.
Show him some footage of how it would change his voice and how there are certain songs he would never be able to play again and slap him.

I am reliably informed that we can blame Whoopi Goldberg for Jon's smoking. Not sure exactly how but it harks back to the filming of Moonlight And Valentino.......

Keep Jon away from computers, TVs, radios, or any way of knowing a.) what music is selling and b.) whether his music is selling: then maybe he can get back to artistry instead of industry.

How is having Tico and Hugh singing going to make the band better? We don't even know if Hugh can sing and Tico can only sing in a note so low, that hardly any songs would suit him.

The main thing as far as I'm concerned, is for the set lists to include songs from EVERY era, and not just the same old 'standards'.

Jon always talks about how he is afraid of the band turning into a nostalgia act, but the truth is, he is the one turning them into an oldies band due to his rubbish and samey set-lists!

i have a bootleg of hugh singing i think its walk the dog....it was at a christmas show....never listened to it though so he may suck

#15 : Force Jon & Richie to watch a show from 1988 and a show from 2007 back to back again and again until they ****ING GET A CLUE! Hire Steven Tyler & Angus Young for coach if necessary.

#17 : Hire a bass player that moves.

#18 : Make bswjbj and "one off" albums illegal.

#19 : Hire people that can actually do some artwork for album covers.

Huey's a good singer. Sorta like Richie, just not as good. Tico...I dunno. Maybe he and Huey should do songs every few shows...

But Dave and Richie...hell yeah.

Jon could get some singing lessons (just extra stuffs, he's not that bad) and give up the fags.

#16 - We used to play this game where we would do a shot every time "live my life: type lyric came up... We got hammered! I agree on this!

#19 - I'm telling you, Tico could do a masterpiece cover. Give this poor guy SOME creative outlet on the record so it's not as much of a dictatorship. However, the album has to be good so the artwork doesn't get associated with a piece of junk like LH.

My suggestions:

#21 - Convince Jon that this "band" has proven everything they needed to and get back to the basics and record music for the love of making music, not to get into charts. People will love them more and even if they don't sell a billion copies, they will get one thing that they never had - lasting respect!

#22 - Force Richie to unleash his guitar demons!

Huey shouldn't sing until he's an official member... but either way I'm good. I have few of those old school Xmas shows they did and all of them sang on there but I never heard Alec do one. Tico is great on Crazy, What a Wonderful World and Waltzing Matilda. It's just a fitting voice, probably resulted from chain smoking cigars (he's cuban after all) !
