Why do people want him back actually? What for? Yes, he should play the tour to the end and not be a douche (if he chose to leave) but otherwise - farewell Richie, good bye Bon Jovi. That simple. Or do you think we'll ever get anything decent from these bunch of stinking rich past-their prime wannabe rock stars? No! We won't. Richie in the band, Richie not in the band, makes ZERO difference right now (other than for die-hards who bought tickets just to see him). Since I wasn't going to see the band on this tour anyway (yes, Thierry! I did see your message and will respond in due time :P) I don. And for once, I am actually quite excited about the prospects of SOLO stuff from all members...whatever that solo stuff may be...
If you do not notice the difference of a show without Richie Sambora are you deaf and blind.

Bon Jovi are our Beatles, our Rolling Stones, want our Lennon, our Richards. We want Sambora back.

We want they to know that Richie Sambora is very important to us.

Are you the same group doing this? A massive retweet on the 2nd May and 7th?

Well, my puberty time seems to have ended, and even if I still make a lot of irrational decisions, in some respects I think I've grown up a little. Being a 'true fan' is just stupid.
The band doesn't do it for me anymore - why hang into it if what I get are things like the last two albums. And live they are just a shadow of who they have used to be. Bon Jovi are dead and even if people deny it, just watching that What About Now videoclip reminded me.

Now with Richie in the band or no Richie in the band - it's like beating a dead horse. A dead steel horse . It's over. C'est fini. Time to be looking forward to something different coming from both Jon and Richie now. Surely, they won't be going down the same old boring path. Disbanding as one of the greatest touring bands in the world will save them some dignity, and offer them the credibility to truly experiment. I hope. And I know both have great music left in them. It's just Bon Jovi - the band - that holds that back!

I actually agree with DevilsSon that the band seems to hold back their creativity. I'd much rather see Jon write solo songs along the vein of The Fighter, a song that clearly came from the heart, than chase the formula. I think they could do that with the band too if they wanted to (like Keep the Faith).

No. It's not our action or idea, but we wrote about it on our profile.
We still believe that Sambo will come back later in the European leg.
