Was it a These Days demo? If it was, it should have been on the album. It's superior to many of the songs on These Days, IMO.

I actually have listened to it this evening And I just love it: beautiful song, wondefull lyrics. And it's definitely underrated.
I wish they wrote more songs like this one.

I think its a NJ demo but I do agree it has a These Days feel to it. Even though its written from a male poitn of view I can totally relate to the sentiment of this song.

One of BJ's best 'not on an album' songs. Would have been great for this to have made an album and be released as a single. ??Is this a demo from KTF...some say NJ, but I was sure it was KTF.

If it's a ktf demo I would very surprised. The songs they wrote for that record in such a short time is already astounding. They could have made two albums out of the material and still be their best two albums!
I wonder if they'll ever be that inspired again. If you compare it to other bands who take two years to make an album and still have crap songs on them it's nothing short of amazing!

Then again, that fact alone doesn't mean much. "Temptation", a Crush b-side is now revealed as being a ktf demo, and "Ordinary People", is said to be from These Days. Who knows..

Good stuff.
It wasn't a promo only, it was a single as well. The orange one was available in stores, the black one is the promo single given to radio stations. Only the UK got it as a b-side on one of the This Ain't A Love Song singles.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
