Weird noises in Queen of New Orleans

That's really odd. This is the European edition and I definitely don't hear it on the UK version of the same single...

Weird noises? What kind of way is that to talk about Jon's voice?

Definitely heard that before on one of the CD versions I have knocking around. I assumed it was something that was from the video although it doesn't really match up timewise on Youtube.

I remember hearing it the first time I heard the song, which was an mp3 of it I had back in 2002. I own the 2CD limited edition version but can't remember if it's on that version or not. I already thought it wounded weird when I first heard it and then I noticed it wasn't present when I first saw the music video about a year later.

I got the idea that the sounds may be from Destination Anywhere (the movie) where Jon is walking through a crowd when the song is playing but the noise is different.

Maybe it was just a version with some sounds resembling a New Orleans street party.

I managed to get a copy of this version of the single and you are right, those noises are there!! But actually the whole track sounds like a slightly different mix to me! Very interesting indeed!

It's strange the the UK version has exactly the same tracklisting on the sleeve as the European one, but definitely does feature the album version without these extra noises!!
