Blaah all of you. Lyrics are often language dependent, i.e. lines related to dogs are usually metaphores of some sort. For instance, in Finnish we're not that keen on talking about dogs when talking metphorically (though blood comes up in lyrics every now and then..).

What do I know, I'm not a linguistic, and luckily so.

True. It's been awhile since the sky was a different blue. Were due for another line soon though. Maybe next album.

I find that song VERY hit and miss because it's so different but I love it to peices, absolutely. I'm so glad someone else knew what song I meant.
