Maybe you should think.

Why have they never said The Zurich or Madison Square Garden shows were up there with the best? they are available to buy...

Also, Jon often talks about an Irish show in 2000 that was one of the best in their careers, was he saying that to sell a non existent DVD?

Silly you.

I tend to think the South America and South Africa shows were the best ones from 1995, but London is spectacular. Jon's voice may have been shot, but it is understanding that the band and fans think it was the peak of their career.

As many have said, especially those from across the pond, they were bigger than ever in the mid 90's in the UK. I would think that 3 sold out shows at one of histories most iconic venues would definitely be a highlight for ANY act.

It wasn't just the performance, it was the ambiance.

That said, I think that the 1996 tour was the peak of the band, but to each his own.

Jon's voice wasn't shot during the London shows? It sounded alright?

It was. It sounds so uninspired. It's almost downright boring, something that wasn't very common for this song, nor was it very common for this era of Bon Jovi.

This one is my favorite version.

'These Days' was bad at Wembley. But what about 'Always', 'Blaze Of Glory', 'This Ain't A Love Song' etc.? They all sounded pretty good, not to mention 'Saturday Night' which is really great.

Indeed. Those shows were simply HUGE. I was too young to go to them but I remember the media and general public were all very aware Bon Jovi were in town, three sold out nights at Wembley is something they will always be proud of, and the gigs were great.

This may be an overrated show but the DVD totally suffers from not having all the songs.

Really really great show...part of me still hopes that sometime in the future the bj camp will re-release this show with some missing songs and extra footage from the these days era.
There is magic in the air and the dvd captures it. Seb insists that this is an overrated show, maybe there were better performances or even wilder crowd etc in other shows but imo its obvious they captured a night were musically magic happened...the venue was great, the crowd spectacular and a band in top form, playing with their heart on their sleeve.
the london dvd will always inspire me and put me off in the same time...Bj should release better dvds...crush was a 4/10 and msg 6/10. and tlfr 5/10 overall even if it was the most looked after as a project.
In the future BJ could easily make their fanbase happy and gain credits by 1.releasing the famous and lost hammersmith odeon shows...in black and white with carefully masterd sound...it would be spectacular!!!
2.just repackaging the 95 london dvd with extra material-songs from these shows and the era...
At last a proposal...if we decide on 1-2 shows the majority here wants released we could persuade the official site and every connection every one here has and maybe have a result...It could even be sth for the fans...an official bootleg or sth in order to overpass some problems that may occur with the distribution etc...just an idea that i believe it could work if we all backed it up..
