"Dude"... what's wrong with saying "dude"? It's a friendly term. I don't see you addressing me with any friendly terms. Instead you always call me a blind follower simply because I have an opinion that you disagree with.

And Mike - the best sports stars can go on until a much older age and still have the ability, and for God's sake look at Glenn Hughes as an example. He gave his all on stage and literally collapsed afterwards, with the flu, a 2hour show, recorded and the newspaper headlines "Glenn rocks till he drops"

He sounded amazing
There are some exceptions - but the best sports stars go downhill after 30. No matter the sport (bowls doesn't count). For the same reason that Jon doesn't move around on stage as much - his voice is not what it was. He is over forty for crying out loud. When u hit that age - u won't be as active or capable as u will be in about 8 - 10 years time. He can still sing & does a better job than most people however.

Oh & would Glenn have dropped 10 years ago??

Two words about Jon's recent abilities: 2003-03-27 - Buffalo - Jon's mic Bootleg.....ok more than 2 words, but his vocals are shit. No power, no vocal range, no depth...

And what comes to some other "old" artists, for example check out Ian Gillan....not everyone loses their abilities with age.

Glenn only dropped because he had the flu and instead of cancelling or letting his guitarist sing songs, or getting the crowd to sing them, or shortening the show he still gave it his all, and more, despite the fact he was almost passing out

Actually 10 years ago he was in worse shape since he was still in rehab I think, or at least at the end of many years of drug abuse

That isn't technically stereo though. More like 3 channels.

And I don't agree with the age things. There are people like Ian Gillian, Jagger and Sting who still sting like they used to, even though they're older. And let's not forget Bono.

Well - maybe Glenn is some sort of God....

But I can list countless stars that can't sing like they used to who are in the 40 + bracket. It is the price of touring hard for a major chunk of the last 20 years.

Compare old bootlegs though, & I'm sure you'll all be saying they can't sing like they used to. & some of Bon Jovi's songs r pretty demanding.

Sting's songs aren't exactly rocket science. Jagger certainly doesn't sound as good as he used to.

Elton John
Steven Tyler
James Hetfield
Meat Loaf
I here a lot of stick about Bono
Robbie Willaims (already)

to name a few.
