As much as I can't stand Amen, I think it actually could have be a decent song if Jon sang it in the 90s. That's a vocally driven song and his Ameeeeen ruin it. And then the verses are just bland but if you put a younger JBJ voice on it, I think the potential is there... But then again, you can say this about any song today.

I know what you mean . I’m not really a fan of Because we can either and up to the last few years it was their worst 1st single from a new album.
The songs I do like really connect with me for some reason but no doubt the album was rushed. The songs also seem like they all have to clock in as quick as possible as well. Example of that is - room at the edge of the world...just before the chorus comes in for the last time after it all slows down and says “Where I wait for you, I'll wait for you”... the pause isn’t long enough and the chorus come in too fast. Silly things like that really annoy. It just needed 3 or 4 seconds of silence.
People slag off WAN but for me it’s 100 times better than THINFS and what we’ve heard from 2020.
