Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but, I've heard about radiofriendly songs, and I'm wondering what defines them. Anyone cares to explain please?

non offencive, happy and catchy songs. It's my life and who says you can't go home are prime examples of this.

Commercially minded, easily digested, inoffensive songs.

That doesn't necessarily mean bad though. Nothing inherently wrong with a good pop hook.
