I think it's his hair and it ought not to matter what he does with it. Unles of course like Samson he loses all his powers if it gets cut!!!

I think some people are just 'into hair'. You find those discussions on pretty much any bands fansite. They discuss Dave Grohls hair on the Foo board - a man who has perpetually bad hair and has never had a decent haircut in his life. Still people are obsessed about it. On the Nirvana site, people contemplate AND try to dye their hair pink like Cobain did at one point using Kool Aid!!!
