Apparently not.

This is the only user name linked to that IP address. She's apparantly a new user. I guess it just comes as a shock to everyone since she's got something positive to say. A lot of people get the whole Bon Jovi/he thing confused and she's probably thinking of Richie singing IBTFY.

:P now becky, we know how much you value jon's presence in the band but surely it annoys you aswell? especially when the person is corrected and continues making the same mistake?

Of course it annoys me. A lot of things annoy me, but I don't make an issue out of every one of them. I'd rather give a person the benefit of the doubt and think she's just new to the world of posting on Bon Jovi boards than jump to the conclusion that she's out to purposely annoy other people. I've had two people tell me things about 'Bon Jovi" this week when they meant Jon. I didn't blast them for getting the name wrong because most people just DO NOT CARE what the difference is. If this person really does, she'll get it right in the future.

i fully understand your argument, becky, but i fail to see how you can go to a concert (maybe even numerous concerts) and not know that they're a band.

I don't know about your concert experiences, Richie, but most solo artists I've seen introduce their bandmembers every night and they all take a bow, not just the person who's name is on the ticket. I can understand why someone would think a solo artist is part of a band or the guys in Bon Jovi are just playing back-up for Jon if they're basing it solely on a live experience.

I find it harder to believe someone who owns a CD would think Bon Jovi is a man. You know, Jon's name is JON BON JOVI and the CDs are released under BON JOVI. You don't go buy a Tim McGraw CD and find it labeled "MCGRAW." So, even if you don't read the album credits, it would seem obvious that Bon Jovi is a band. Otherwise, Mr. and Mrs. Jovi were really mean to name their male child Bon. Oh, but wait, Mr. & Mrs. Scott did that, so it is possible, isn't it?

i don't know about you but i've never been to see a solo act where the backing band's lead guitarist gets up to perform a song. point taken about the albums though, that's always confused me.

I have actually--at some country shows. Some touring musicians are part of other bands and the headliners will give them a chance plug their own stuff.
