Some person who used to post here quite a bit had some stupid banner. Forgot the details, was discussed at that time in the official whatever thread. From where I was I thought the spitting bit looked actually worse than the finger.

I think spitting is the lowest of the low. Revolting habit unless you are playing sport where it just builds up in the mouth.

Or you are a singer and probably the same happens. No idea. Anyway, it looks like he is spitting out of frustration, but not towards anyone in the crowd. The middle finger is then addressed directly to that girl. Those stupid banners must have really got to him.

What were those banners expressing?
I only remember when Jon got angry at a girl who used to "manage" the fan club queueing and he gave her the finger. I guess something else happened before that. I just know that that girl was really down afterwards. I just don't get how fans can get so obsessed and think they are more important than others, on the other hand I don't get how Jon gets so annoyed by somebody who actually paid a lot of money for following the band and kind of "working" for free! He should be happy that people actually do that!

And: where is the "I don't care"- option in that poll?

I don't want to get into that cause I don't know details and she's a good friend of a very good friend of mine. As far as I know though - she was paid for all her org-work so it wasn't all free. And the very last banner when Jon showed her the finger said something like "I'm shot through the heart and you're to blame!"...the other 5 or 6 which she held up were more offensive and it was right in front of Jon for the whole gig. If he moved around a bit more, he could've probably ignored them easier.

And since we're talking about the Bucharest gig, I got some 'spicy' details from some friends working in Romanian media. The night before the gig, the band, the management team and the promoter rented out a very posh Italian restaurant in central Bucharest. The only external guests were 12 twenty-ish year old models. Apparently, Jon was very well behaved and was the first to leave, but once he was gone it went pretty crazy, lots of bad stuff happening. I found that hilarious...the Jon leaving while the rest party on. It was Richie's birthday I suppose.

Haha I had totally forgotten about all that drama. They spend loads of cash and work into organizing things for the fanclub for years and then the fanclub screwed them over in some way.

She was never paid for her work as far as I know though, these girls did it all for free or certainly made it look that way, which I thought was pretty stupid to begin with. The thing is though, if they'd not organize it the fanclub would never bother and they'd lose their spot on the front row anyway.

All these girls "organizing" are all doing it to get something out of it, but queing for hours only to hold up a banner saying that Jon sucked comes across as quite a waste of time, especially considering they took days off for the whole trip. Would they not organize things they'd lose their chance of a spot on the first few rows and we can't have that, now can we?

Jon was still a dick with flipping her off though. She put a lot of hard work in it and despite doing it to get better of it herself she still helped out a lot of others and Jon never paid respect to that, though I doubt Matt's ever told Jon the full story as it'd make obvious how much he is lacking in organization skills himself.
