What do you think of Bounce?

Fits my shelf better than my cd player.

I have to agree prety much with Martin- it is a million times better than Crush was although I don't really listen to it that often. Bascially i like most of the songs- the only ones i don't really like are Love Me Back to Life and AALY. Buthte rest is okay with me with Undivided, Bounce, and The Distance being my fave tracks. I also kind of like Joey which probably puts me in the minority huh?

Am I the only one that thinks All About Loving you is not that bad? I mean Jovi have done much better ballads but musically its quite good IMO. I noticed its actually really simular to Never Say Goodbye in the chorus. The backing music and the medody are almost identical.

I think it's a really good album. songs are very well written and go in some unexpected direction (The Distance, Undivided). it has some great hooks. rock songs songs are cool and prove BJ ain't always a pop band, and ballads... that's part of their trademark. I really like "Open All Night", it ends the record with a sweet touch. all the ballads are good on this record. I know people generally dislike "All About Lovin' You", but it's a good one.
I think 12 songs were enough. Many fans burned cds with the extras on b-sides to make a 19-20 album songs, but an album lasting more than 45-50 minutes, IMO, is boring. I can't focuse too long on music. so, "Bounce" is long enough. if I want to listen to b-sides, I have my collection of burned cds and I often listen to "We Can Dance" and "Another Reason To Believe", I'm not too crazy about the other outtakes.
honestly, I on't really like "Crush", I think it's a weird album with b-side stuff on it, it ain't top quality, "Bounce" is more in my tastes.

I don't like the lovey dovey crap like All About Lovin' You, Open All Night, and You Had Me From Hello. These ballads aren't good at all. What happened to the power ballads like I'll Be There For You, Bed Of Roses, Always and This Ain't A Love Song? Some of the songs on Bounce aren't bad like Undivided, Right Side Of Wrong, Misunderstood, etc, but I do think Bon Jovi should rock more.

Basically, I don't like the ballads. It's just boring, with the exception of Bounce, Hook Me Up, and Undivided. It's not a BAD album, but probably my least favorite. Crush was WAY better.

I'm beginning to like it, but it's not the best album.

One Quality song - Undivided
3 Good songs - Bounce,, hook me up and The Distance

The rest are very average by Bon Jovis standards.

I always liked You Had Me From Hello. I just thought it was sweet. I might have even cried the first time I heard it.
