What do you think of Bounce?

No I really think Bon Jovi need to turn round and head back in the direction they did from '86 - '96. Like I said, they need to rock more, and they aren't doing that at the moment. I'll "Keep The Faith" though.

I was totally disappointed in it! I thought it was gonna be great instead u got watered down i'm sooo sorry i screwed around on you with "Misunderstood" I thought my head would explode with all the iiiiiiiiiii's in that stupid ass song. Bounce the title song is lame, they need to go back and rethink about the songs they churn out, cause Bounce was a let down and it just sucked! The only song I liked off that album was..."The Distance"

At first I was dissapointed. It took some months until I descovered it and then I fell in love with it. Probably because I then knew what to expect. I listened to it yesterday and it was fantastic. The only song I still can't get really into is "Right side of wrong"... weird keyboard sound, they way Jon sings it...
Surprisingly I like the ballads, even "Open all night" (but it took me long)... AALY is also a great one. My favourite BJ tune has to be "Bed of Roses" and of course there is NO comparison and I still wish the album would have been better, but I can't change it and I learned to cope with it... Sometimes I get a bit angry when I imagine how good "Bounce" could have been with a better production... It has some very good songs (Undivided, The Distance, Hook me up, Bounce...), but at BJ standards it's still weak. So I guess the album only works that well on its own...

And CRUSH was a masterpiece compared to Bounce, although the problem was the same - the production...

The stars ain't out of reach... BJ have just to find the ladder on the streets...

joey is great song...but i'm probably one of the only who likes it

bounce, misunderstood, hook me up and all about lovin you are good.
there is nothing special aboput the rest of the songs.....everyday sucks though.

it's a decent album but i think they're going the wrong way.
they're writing an album that appeals to music these days (it's a bit too pop) and they aren't writing any songs that will still be sung in 20 years. i can't see any of these songs being played at their next tour and i also think they're trying too hard to make new fans and are forgetting their old fans by creating what is basically a pop album.
definately not 1 of their best.

I like Bounce i think its prett good, I liked it from the first listhen and didnt understand wot the moaning wos about. Sure its not the same as SWW ect but its still very good. Now crush is just urgh (sorry) ..I like about 3 songs off Crush and thats it i dont even bother to listhen to it anymore.

Can anyone pick a bon jovi "anthem" from this album??? Sumit thatl be played on radio in 10 years time? Wanted, prayer, faith etc still sound fresh today as when they were written, but I doubt anything off bounce would get same status!! radio hardly played singles never mind owt else!!!

Its not a bad album, but sure aint the best thing they put out, 2 or 3 great songs, couple good, couple average and rest pure drivel!!

lets hope time off is used to write a clasic album otherwise I cant see a future for bon jovi, and that is a bleak statement.

Upto crush I(i believe) they'd sold 90million+ albums but that figure has only just passed 100mill and there been 4 albums since then which tells its own story im afraid.

Yeh i agree it's not my fave album (i love new jersey) but i do still really like it, esp. songs like Undivided & Joey...
