Absolutely nothing except a full concert DVD of any show in the 90's or late 80's.
A break is long overdue

I'd mainly like to see a studio album released maybe in 2009..or eventually. I wanna see the band go back to pure rock...the stuff from the 90s. I understand that Jon can't hit the same high notes, but I'd still love to hear some songs with some real emotion. It seems like the majority of the songs nowadays are being written to please as many people as possible and not necessarily written from the heart. Not all, but most. Doesn't mean they're not good..just not as powerful.

As for a greatest hits album...it really doesn't matter to me. I own all the Bon Jovi albums...I have a Bon Jovi music library of almost 400 songs and my own greatest hits playlists..I don't really need a collection of good songs on a CD. It'd definitely be cool for non-die hard fans. As for a live album..it'd be pretty cool...as well as some solo projects as well.

they need to take a break - maybe 3 years - then get back in the studio and start writing some proper ROCK tunes.
forget the country crap and get back to what made them the biggest band on this planet - great songs.
Also they need to let Ritchie do solos that go on for longer than 5 seconds.
i suggest they listen to SWW and NJ and remember what ROCK is all about.
im not saying go back to sounding like the 80's but use those albums to inspire them into making a great new generation rock album staying close to their roots.
if not - its all over.

IMO - a GH album is a waste of time and if you take the albums from these days upwards for the GH2 - then the album is a far weaker album than Crossroads. - if the GH2 is all the singles it will be full of songs that are bland or didnt sell to well 1st time around (after these days) so why would they sell now??

Of course NOOOTTT another greatest hits or live cd!! The same stuff AGAIN on a record? **** that.

1. I think that a solo record from Jon and Richie would be the best. It could inspire them.
Jon could just use support/ back vocals to make it sound better.

2. Another studio album

I agree with Kathleen - a break now - while useful (and probable IMO) would be a bad thing overall.

Although - I reckon a solo outing from Richie would be great, plenty of inspiration to take similar ideas from LH and go in another musical direction.
