Well if Bounce would be just a word as a title(like "crush") I would still don#t like it, but Bounce is also a track on the album and this was my favourite solution for the title:to pick a track out of the album and made him the title track(like "thes Days" and "keep the Faith")

Quote:
I never had a problem with it in the first place. I really thought it was ridiculous for people to judge the sound of the album based on a nondescript title. New Jersey, Cross Road, Keep the Faith... none of those titles scream out "ROCK!"
Sorry i have to disagree with you!
I think "New Jersey" screams out ROCK. So many rock'n'roll acts are from this state(Bon Jovi;Springsteen and the E-street band, little steven and the disiples of soul, southside johnny and the ashbury jukes, skid row). For me "New Jersey" is a synonym for rock!

Quote:
There was so much fuss about this !
We can imagine that it's not ridiculous or anything like that, see the success !
sorry,but which success
Bounce don't even own a gold disc in the USA since today.

From the first time i head the name "Bounce" for the new album I thought what a great name, and voted for it to stay the same. I liked it then and still do.

I liked the title Bounce from the beginning so it still is just fine now. Just don't judge an album by its title, there's always more to it than just a plastered name.

Now I like the name Bounce, but I still prefer something with 2 or more words, like " Still Standing ", " Still Here ", " Rockin´around "............

bounce is somehow strange but cool. I never understood why people here hated the word. if everyone who hate the word should ask for something else, put out your own record and you'll name it the way you want

Bounce, I disliked it then and still do, it sounds like a childerns tv show. I would have preferred Still Standing . I think the title is important to appeal to buyers, I cant really see a muscley tattoo guy walking into a record store and saying Bounce please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crush, Bounce, whats next Fly?????

I know it will be 20 years of BJ Box Set.

What success?
Anyway, I have always liked this title. It's not the title that made the album fail but the bad single choices and the lack of airplay.

I didn't like it in the beginning, and it still sucks now. I love the song, though. The Distance, Right Side of Wrong or even Misunderstood would have been better choices.
