If it doesn't cater to the 'important' backstage people, then whoever is running it will find a lynch mob at their house, their families taken hostage & who knows what else.

So true.

I can't say I've ever been tempted to join. It offers absolutly nothing that'd interest me, especially seen as I live in the UK. Who gives a flying **** about Jon's quarterly (is it still, or ever been, quarterly?) letter where he simply states exactly what we already knew, which gets published online by someone anyway. I wouldn't want to access the boards if I was paid. I just don't think I'd like to be associated with the whole thing at all.

the website was crap, the benefits for UK people effectively nil and the boards full of hero worshipers, criticising the band for wearing odd socks was enough to get your house burnt down. To some there Jon's voice is a good as it was 15 years ago, Crush was a 5* album and TLFR/OWN wasnt a cheap cash in.

A complete waste of money.

The benefits for US residents outside of major markets are even less than for those in Europe. At least Europeans can show up at any show and get a wristband.

They need to go to an on-line ticketing outlet like other efficiently run
fan clubs that treat all fans equally, regardless of where they live. Living near a venue shouldn't entitle a fan to a better ticket than someone who has to travel 1000 miles for the show when both are paying the same membership dues.

I totally agree. The only venue I get to see the boys at is 3 hours away (one way) and I cannot go pick up my tickets on the day they go on sale. I'm lucky to be able to make the concert period. I was a member for one brief year and did not receive any more benefits for this than I do now!

Another thing the new owners (if there are any) should do is get rid of those two. They need to be taken down a peg or two. And are just plain RUDE!
