WWW.RICHIESAMBORA.COM Update
Sunday, July 11, 2004
As many fans have discovered, the Official Richie Sambora Website (www.richiesambora.com) is not functioning. Have no fear - everything is OK. Koo-Koo-Kachoo. Richie is working on an overhaul to his personal site and while it will be down for some time, www.richiesambora.com will definitely be back - bigger and stronger, new and improved, at a future date. (In the meantime, visit www.bonjovi.com for band news and news provided by the individual bandmembers on their outside endeavors!)

----------

This bit is from the news archive of bonjovi.com but I'd bet I read that a month or so ago, not just yesterday?

Apart from this official note there was stress with the hosting company or something like that.

I think it's being revamped because of the new Richie's solo album. It's possible...

Yeah, but this is no reason to close down the recent one.

Yes, it is, if the new one is done by a different company. Which it is.

Thank goodness, I couldn't stand the old one. I hope it's a lot better.
I actually don't care for BJ.com either, but it's ok.

But the point is the stress with the old company. Without the obvious problems there for sure would be a way to keep the old site going until the new is ready, even with a different company.

I'm sure Richie doesn't want to pay money for the old company to upkeep the site if he didn't like it in the first place...

But the content should be his even if the old company created it. So he could pay a new company for keeping it up.
If he is not allowed to by the old one than it was really a sh1tty deal.
